Our FAQ’s

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A “virtual assistant” (typically abbreviated to a VA, also called a virtual office assistant) is generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely from a home office.

What does a Virtual Assistant do?

A Virtual Assistant does the majority of things that a personal assistant or office administrator does, but they’re never in your office. Replying to emails, typing documents, invoicing your clients… anything you can do online, your Virtual Assistant can help you with.

What can a Virtual Assistant do for me?

Advancing technology means that you do not need to hire an administration professional to sit in your office. Below is a tiny list of tasks that we can regularly carry out for our clients:

  • Letter writing
  • Website Creation
  • Website Hosting
  • Email account management
  • Diary management
  • Document management
  • PA services
  • Marketing
  • Invoicing and credit control
  • Internet research
  • Travel arrangements
  • Event management
  • Booking appointments
  • Social Media setup
  • Web content management
  • Data Entry and reporting
  • Copy typing and proof reading
  • and much, much more!

What tools do you use to get your job done?

There are so many tools available to us online to make working remotely easy for everyone. We love Dropbox for file sharing, we use Office365 for email, calendar, word etc and we use Skype for communicating – just to name a few. Of course, you may recommend new technologies that you use in your business and we are more than happy to use these also.

How do we share files?

There is no need to send files via email and there will be no chance of duplicate documents. We use OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Drive, whatever is your preference.  It works just like a normal server, just in the cloud.

Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?

If you want to sign a confidentiality agreement, or vice versa, we can certainly do that for you. It’s completely up to you.
